Kai loves going to Camp Bow Wow. He's been a camper here for the last 4 and a half years. He gets so excited the minute we drive down route 495 and we lived 25 minutes away. Having to hear his excitement for 20 min ride isn't easy sometimes. And all of the staff are very nice to him, whether is day camp or overnight stay, i can trust Kai with Camp Bow Wow.
I love how they treat the fur babies, they know their names when they walk in the door. Jake gets so excited when it’s time to go to camp. I also used the grooming service, and will use the dog training. I highly recommend.
I like that the camp counselors (the staff) are genuinely friendly to us and our dog.
Our experiences have been very comforting for us and our dog: the 1/2 hour interview, the 3 hour period, and the full day. All of this made it comfortable for me to see that my pooch was going to be ok. And me ok leaving him.
The staff has continued to impress me with their friendliness. For those reasons, I would recommend Camp Bow Wow.
One thing I'd like: someone to be at the building during the night with all the dogs there. Would a babysitting service leave the premises while the baby is sleeping? Hopefully not.
Score for the day camp: 10
A great day program...
Jojo has been a camper at Camp BowWow for 10 years. She is always happy when she arrives. The staff is great. They greet her by name! As she is older, she needs to take several medications each day. The staff make sure she is cared for and no additional charge for dispensing the medication.
