When picking Shep up, my parents were informed that he had been fed for the evening because he was being picked up so late (a delayed flight caused a missed connection and we were 3 hours later than expected). This was in spite of me leaving specific instructions that he wasn't to be fed anything aside from the provided food, as he has an extremely sensitive stomach and bad teeth (so kibble is painful to eat). When they were told this it wasn't indicated whether the food he received was the same as what he is given at home. Additionally while I assume he also received his evening medication along with a dinner, it wasn't explicitly stated either way. When giving a dog an extra meal like that you should really put the details in writing so the owner is positive of what occurred, especially when another person will be picking up the dog.
The staff is very accommodating! I love the fact that Bella got two D-Tail cards the first day, kind of like getting a good report from your kids teacher. She also received a Valentine's Day card and good bag from her new friend Kaiser. You truly do go above and beyond. I don't worry about her at all when she is in your care.
I like the offering of part/full/boarding days, the ability to buy different packages, and the spa services offered. My dog is very happy and tired (in a good way!) when I pick him up! The webcam feature is great also, I love being able to check in on my puppers online to see if he is having fun and behaving. I have taken him to other doggy daycares before and Camp Bow Wow’s prices are in line with or better than the competition. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!
