The staff are friendly and great with the dogs. There are a lot of services to choose from and the hours of operation are fantastic. The initial visit that gives the staff and doggie owners a chance to get a feel of how they’ll fit in is perfect and since it’s free it’s a great opportunity to try it out and see what is available!
The down side for me is too many dogs in a single area. I have 2 pups and they were pretty overwhelmed with an over abundance of dogs to a room but in general for an older pup or adult that’s used to being around a “pack” environment it would be ideal IMHO!
The staff were incredibly kind and gentle with my dog. He’s a bit timid of men and they did a great job earning his trust remarkably easily. They were very helpful to me and extremely compassionate. My dog had a great time playing with the other dogs and I was very comfortable leaving him there. I know he will be safe and have a great time when he is there again.
I love how the employees are so cheerful and excited when I drop my dog (Holly) off. She is actually excited to see everyone and all her doggie friends. Knowing that Holly is happy and being taken care of really makes dropping her off much easier. Also, she’s so tired at the end of the day some times she doesn’t want to leave camp! Camp Bow Wow is awesome! I’ve already recommended it to all my friends.
When I dropped my dog off at Camp Bow Wow I didn’t feel guilty about doing it for once. I felt as if I was just taking my dog to the dog park like any other normal day. I love the freedom they have at the camp. They’re basically just there to play all day.
