On some weekends we travel to Eastern Long Island, NY to visit our families. Our return trip from L.I. to Toms River on Sun. sometimes takes over 4 hours, and other times only takes 2+ hours. We try to return before dark if possible. If we arrive at Camp Bow Wow before 5 Pm, they are understanding and allow us to pick up our 2 dogs early. We use to use another place that made us wait around for over an hour.
Staff working in animal pen areas could interact more with dogs. I was watching on web cam as it was my pets first visit and the girl came in and out with a mop and completely ignored the pets. . This happened numerous times.
I was watching the cameras to see the dogs play and I didn't see any human interaction with them. When the workers were in the play areas they had their arms crossed or were cleaning. I was expecting that the dogs were being played with or petted.
My Harry has been a camper, daytime only, for about 3 1/2 years . Lori and her staff couldn't be nicer. Harry is always excited to go. I know I don't have to worry when he is there. Good exercise and a good nap
when he gets home🐶💓🐶
