Convenience and lots of play for our active fur ball! The live feed is awesome too so we can see the love and fun he receives. Open weekends and until 7pm and half day options too make your daycare tops above the rest.
I loved that my dog was engaged during his entire stay. I also loved how involved the staff was and how they take the time to get to know each pet on a personal level. I feel safe leaving my dog with you!
From reading the website, I had made a mental image of what Camp Bow Wow was and seemed like a doggie fun camp. I was extremely disappointed when visiting to find that the outdoor areas did not have real grass, were not large enough for dogs to actually run in; to find that the "cabins" are just glorified kennels in a room with no windows, and most of all, that there is no personnel on site during the night.
The staff was really nice during our visit, but the set-up of the camp is just not what we were looking for our dog.
Watching on the camera I noticed that there were a lot, 15+, dogs in one room and it looked a bit overcrowded. I wonder if the play sessions would be more productive if all the play areas were used instead of just 2 and the room sizes were kept to 10 or 12.
Also, just a FYI, watching the camera sucks a TON of cellular data. I used 7 gbs just by watching the camera off and on for a day. Oops! Obviously not the fault of Camp Bow Wow and I LOVED the camera, but I wonder if there isn't a way to stream it that would use less data?
Everyone there was friendly and genuinely cared about my dogs comfort. H is a Resuce and can be a bit skittish around new people and surroundings. Everyone went out of their way to be gentle and patient with him. He was calm and happy when we picked him up the next morning. W are SO VERY happy and thankful for Camp Bow Wow!
