I’be been boarding for a few years and recently added our new puppy who is almost 5 months. Her first boarding was this past weekend.
I just have mixed feelings on how it went. I saw with the cameras that my two doxies were sprayed with the water bottle (1:32 Sunday) and I didn’t see any unwanted behavior to warrant that. It was quite upsetting. They are both less than 7.5lbs.
I also expect their blanket to come home pretty smelly after three nights - at least smell like they do and the last few times the blanket still smelt like my house. I’m afraid that they are being put in their cabin without their blanket or toys.
I guess I was just surprised at how small the yards are and how little the dogs actually run around. I realize that you can't expand the yards because you only have so much space. However, my dog really just paced around with the pack without much external stimulation. I was hoping that doggie day care would wear out my pups but it just gave my Boxer an extremely anxious stomach. To wear him out, I've got to let him run on the levee for an hour.
Camp Bow Wow gives the very best of care. Whenever I leave my fur baby there I breathe a sigh of relief knowing that she will be loved, kept safe and given her medications.
We have used CBW for 11 1/2 years now and there is no place I would rather go.
They also went the extra mile to go to our vet to pick up medication when we ran short during her stay. I can’t sign their praises enough.
