The facility is very nice and clean. I was a little taken back by how many dogs where all together in one room, around 15 - 18 dogs, maybe because it was a Saturday. My Rottweiler just seemed very nervous and I think if it was a little less dogs in one space he would have done better.
I can take my dog almost any day I want (except Sundays and holidays) for half days (roughly 6 hours), knowing he will have a fun day with his canine and human friends and come home good and tired. The staff is so caring and accommodating. He boards a fair amount and I have complete peace of mind knowing he’s very well cared for and, quite frankly, spoiled rotten! Camp Bow Wow South is seriously his second home or vacation home. He is SOOO excited always to go and has been there A LOT!!! Would never go anywhere else. They also run periodic specials on day care, full and half days, so I stock up! BEST dog care period!
One thing - I think the people who work inside with the dogs need to have a chair. I could see it was extremely hard for those folks to give the love some of the dogs want (like mine). I understand you do not want them sitting all the time, BUT you can put some guidelines around that. they are on camera you know.
