I love camp bow wow, but am a little concerned. We have had our dog stay there many times and she seems to love it. A couple of times, she has returned home with an eye infection requiring visits to the vet. After her most recent stay, she got really sick... vomiting and diarrhea. We were told by the vet that they have seen many similar cases recently. Now that you are aware, I am confident that camp bow wow will make every effort to prevent the spread of this illness.
I feel so at ease knowing my dog is cared for and having a great time. He is a very social dog and loves playing with the other dogs at Camp Bow Wow! I love that I can watch him on my phone during the day. Every time I look at him his tail is wagging and he seems so happy.
The staff is SUPER friendly! I had booked Guinness's reservation weeks before I brought him in. When we got there, the ladies at the front were expecting him and greeted him so sweetly! I also love that I can check in on him on the cameras anytime I am missing him. Also, he always smells AMAZING after his bath and his fur was SO SOFT. He loves going to Camp!
I never worry about our older small dog being ‘bullied”. We feel she is in a safe environment. Her special needs are met regarding medication and frequent rest.
We appreciate all the hardworking staff members!
I am glad that I have this place to take my Parker. Since he had a seizure I have not wanted to leave him. Having your place to take him and know that he will be taken care of gives me peace of mind. My friend Steven Penn takes his dog to the Temecula facility (where I take Parker) recommended that I take Parker here and am glad I have.
Mindi and Peanut stayed Sat night and when I picked them up Sun afternoon there was no sheet containing how they did, their beds were still in cabin and copy of shot boosters for peanut was still in bag. These are minor but unusual from past visits.
I do recommend bow wow to friends as the staff and social aspect is invaluable to dogs.
