Awesome team there in Troy! They love my dogs and my dogs love them!! Even though dogs can’t communicate verbally, they can still tell us when something isn’t right!
All the counselors are so great and loving with our dog. It’s great to have a place we can bring him too and not have to worry at all about him while he is there. Also having the live camera feeds are so great to be able to watch the dogs playing.
So excited for my dog to go here. The interview process and tour were amazing! Otis was only there for a half day and had so much fun he actually slept in the next morning!!
I love everything about Camp, from the facility and services to the individual team members. There's no other place I'd be comfortable leaving my dog at. My 5-month-old puppy just had her interview and will be going there regularly, just my previous dog, who was a camper for 13 years!
I love being able to drop off for day care with out a reservation. Having the option to do a bath without full grooming is really nice. Also having grooming available is great.
This was my dog's first (interview) visit. I absolutely loved all the staff that I met. They seem to enjoy their jobs, are very knowledgeable, and care for the dogs that visit camp. The camp is cute and the little extras offered are very considerate. I like that we can bring blankets and toys from home. This isn't allowed at some other places, so I feel it is a big plus to make my dog feel comfortable. Afterward, my dog seemed exhausted, which is a sign of a good time. I feel like my dog will be in good hands when we use Camp Bow Wow.
I only have two concerns which might be because I am a helicopter parent of a small dog. 1. Small dogs are so domesticated and live cushy, cuddly, babied lives. Six-plus hours a day on the cement floor seems like a lot for them. 2. The kennels where they spend 12 hours overnight are a little small compared to other boarding places in the area. I'm just imagining that since they don't have a chance to go to outside for that long span, they will be wandering through their waste all night. It's probably not something you can easily change, but I thought I would share what I saw in my comparison of other places.
