My daughter had a really wonderful time. She was able to try new things and she really enjoyed having the choice day. She also really enjoyed the pool.
My children had an amazing time at summer camp and would love to participate again. The atmosphere is full of energy and excitement, and it's clear that the variety of fun and engaging activities kept everyone happy and involved.
One small suggestion to help keep spirits and energy levels up throughout the day: it might be helpful to schedule at least two dedicated snack breaks—one in the morning and another in the afternoon—alongside the regular lunch break. This could go a long way in keeping everyone fueled and focused for all the fun!
Thanks again for creating such a fantastic experience for the kids!
The staff does a great job keeping weekly activities rotated, and acts with kindness towards my child. She feels very comfortable at camp, and loves to go back every year. I am not sure that we'll be able to have her return this year, as I've been unemployed for over a year, and just don't have it in the budget right now until I land regular work.
The staff are personable and kind. They keep the kids engaged and come up with so many creative crafts and activities for the kids. My child loves the YMCA staff and programming. So grateful to have this resource in our community.
I like how excited my daughter is to go to the YMCA and how happy she is when she gets home. She loves the staff and all the fun activities they plan throughout the day.
I really am grateful for this program. The instructors are all incredibly good with children and my child loves it. I have heard a lot of other aftercare programs are sometimes chaos, but I have found this one to be well planned, well balanced with social activities. So many of the kids don't want to leave when we come pick them up because they are having so much fun.
My son loves the active play and all the creative art projects at the Y. The teachers provide him with the space to be himself and feel truly supported. Even on days when he says he doesn’t want to go to school, he has never once said he doesn’t want to go to the Y! This first year in TK has been a big transition—meeting new people, adjusting to new rules—but the Y has kept the fun in learning for him, and we are incredibly grateful!
The staff are all amazing. They are kind, and great with the kids. They come up with wonderful and creative things for the kids to do every day. My daughter loves the YMCA. I feel so lucky to have this program at our school.
