I LOVE that this is Christian based. I love that EVERYONE on staff is always super helpful.
Last week when something happened with the lake, I immediately got an email letting me know what was going on. Then, when I picked up my daughter, she LOVED the water activities from that day (hint hint: do the same water activities again - they were a hit)
I never have a problem getting a live person on the phone.
I have nothing but great things to say.
Professional staff, organized, loads of cool outdoor activities. The camp grounds are magical and my kids come home each day exceptionally happy and tired. Camp Weaver is perfect for my 8 and 10 year old. The price is complete justified. Even my picky eater with allergies asked me to stop packing his lunch so he could eat what the camp prepared because he said the food tastes like fine dining.
My son seems to have a good time at Camp Weaver. But he is only 6 and doesn’t tell me much about what goes on during the day. It might be helpful to provide a schedule of activities for younger kids and their families so it can be a guide for parents asking their kids about their experience. I would also really appreciate being told the name(s) of my kid’s counselors.
My daughter absolutely loves everything about the camp… from water activities, animal care, archery and everything in between! The counselors are kind, fun and engaging! Such a great experience!
My kids love this camp. This week they talked about how much they enjoyed canoeing, learning to make a fire, and making a fort.
I have one request..... my kids burn very easily ans I send them with sunscreen but they are constantly forgetting to reapply. They came home very burned on Friday. Maybe it would be good practice for the staff to have a set time to just remind kids to reapply. Like after they are done swimming and have changed back into their clothes and after lunch. Just a general announcement to reapply sunscreen if they have it.
My children liked the variety of activities as well as the fact that they could choose to participate or not each day. My children say they appreciate the snacks each day. We also really appreciate the bus pick up and drop off.
Full day of activities that accommodate the schedules of working parents; meals and snacks provided, range of activities that introduce the kids to diverse outdoor experiences
