Steve K. has been an invaluable leader in finding a memory-care facility for my mom. We were a bit unprepared for moving Mom to memory care from home due to a scary, unexpected medical event and hospital stay. But from the moment Steve reached out to help us, we felt a great sense of relief. Steve moved quickly to find the right option for Mom's circumstances and abilities, provided us with the information we needed to feel confident in our selected facility, and even accompanied me to meet with facility staff (AND helped me ask all the right questions since I'd been running on minimal sleep for a week+).
Steve also followed up regularly as Mom was admitted and started settling in at the facility, asking how both she and I were doing during the transition and sharing supportive messages cheering us on. He's friendly, caring, and knowledgeable about the area's facility and resources, and local families are fortunate to have him and CarePatrol for their senior-care needs.

Steve answered all the questions we had, he is professional, knowledgeable of the industry, had all the necessary paperwork that was needed. Anything that came up he had it forwarded to me… so I could complete it. He made it easy for us even for us being out of state.. He went above and beyond and we are so grateful that we had Steve to help us in this move for my dad who is 97… We appreciate that there are still hard working professionals out there…like Steve Key… I will always highly recommend him.

Steven was outstanding..we had no idea where to begin and he led us through the entire process step by step. He really cares about what the family is going through and finding the ideal fit for their needs. He even arranged tours ( and accompanied us) to facilities outside his territory and made it effortless. He offered his expertise when asked but was not at all aggressive or pushy. He made you feel that his only agenda was your family’s success at finding the right place. Can’t recommend enough.

I had a great experience with care patrol, and Steve Key. He helped me more than anyone else has helped me in my search for an assisted living place for my cousin. He could answer every question I asked him and he has continually told me to feel free to call him 2 4 seven 365. I appreciate from the bottom of my heart all that he has done for me and for my cousin. He is very professional and always answers the phone no matter what time you call. Steve Key of CarePatrol Gastonia-Asheville has been a true saving grace for our family.
When our Mom's facility near Asheville, NC, unexpectedly closed and we had very little time to adjust, CarePatrol was suggested by two trusted sources and so we contacted them for help.
When we met Steve, he listened closely to our needs, and then immediately went to work, compiling options for comparable and reliable facilities where Mom could be comfy, well cared for, and have some fun! She chose the very one he initially intuited might be a good fit for her. The whole family resonated with Steve's level of commitment and resourcefulness. He even participated in her moving day!
Suffice to say that we have all felt completely supported by Steve and CarePatrol's terrific model for helping families with these all-important decisions. We are eternally grateful.
I will recommend CarePatrol to anyone who wishes to understand their options for their loved one's care, and especially Steve Key in the Gastonia-Asheville area.

My brother and I were exhausted from searching for a community for our mother. We didn't know what to look for in a quality facility or even how to find out about violations. Then we found Steve with Care Patrol of Gastonia & Asheville! Steve asked specific questions about our mother and provided information about pricing, services, violation history and availability. The next step was to visit three communities and speak to the directors. Steve was with us every step of the way. Our mother moved into a community a few days ago and Steve is still taking care of us! What a blessing to have someone who truly cares about seniors and works to place them in the right community.
