CarePatrol, and specifically Cean, were a godsend for our family. When my mother fell and fractured her hip after an illness that led to extreme muscle loss and weakness, my family was struggling to find anything that felt like the right solution for care that would let her maintain her sense of independence yet still get the care she needed to recover.
A friend suggested CarePatrol and when I called and left a message, I heard back from Cean within hours. We had a long phone call to discuss all of our issues and concerns, and she followed up with a detailed email with a list of options, the pros and cons of each, and the likely costs associated. In the end she directed us to a solution we didn't even know was an option (and even joined us in our introductory meeting), and it has turned out to be ideal. My mother is now getting the level of care she needs in the best context for her circumstances.
Cean has continued to be responsive even though she's really already done her job, and we're all just so grateful that we found her/CarePatrol! If not, we would still be struggling to figure it all out--and be stressed and frazzled beyond worrying about my mother. So thank you! Highly recommend!

CarePatrol was a godsend for us when we were trying to find assisted living for my mother-in-law. She had a few special issues, and the staff at CarePatrol were able to speak to people at many facilities and quickly eliminate several that could not accommodate them. They have an incredible amount of information about the communities and they were able to provide invaluable advice about what sorts of things to look for and ask about. We also ended up working with three different consultants because of vacations and and because our search spanned two different "territories", but the communication among them all was seamless. They really worked hard for us and we are so grateful for everything they did.

The CarePatrol advisors understand the nuances of and differences among assisted living, independent living, memory care, and nursing homes. Before I met with them, I thought I knew, but I soon found out that I really didn't have a handle on the details. That alone is a huge reason to work with CarePatrol.
The staff at each residence is the other key factor. CarePatrol advisors have longstanding relationships with the executive, activities, and care directors at the most reputable residences.
Work with CarePatrol and you'll learn a lot. They helped place my mom in a safe and beautiful community.

Cean Tan was such a pleasure to work with. She explained everything clearly, and had extraordinary patience with me throughout the process of placing my brother in assisted living. She made many calls to numerous facilities to see which were potential places that would suit his specific needs. She has exceptional knowledge about the facilities in the region. She communicated with me by phone and email throughout, and always responded immediately to any questions I had. I can’t adequately express what her guidance meant to me and my family.

Kindness, care, efficiency & speed of action! With our family needing to find a “new home” for Mom, both Wendy & Cean listened, gathered information & quickly assessed our needs, hopes & desires for Mom’s comfort level. Mom’s new home far exceeds what we could begin to imagine & to see her at 97 make this adjustment with the compassion of her new caregivers is a gift!
