CarePatrol was God sent.
I was looking at large facilites, because that's all I knew. The stress of pricing, location and finding a place for my loved one was taking a tole. However, thru one of the larger locations I was referred to CarePatrol.
In less than 24 hours I received a text and phone call, not only for my interest but my well being. I met with Annie and Gauri to tour, home like locations, which I never knew existed. I did not feel pressured to make a dessecion but to find a place that worked for us as a family. We did find a home and the owners were incredibly kind and friendly.
While my loved one was in the hospital and at the time of discharge Annie, Gauri and Thomas assisted with setting up transport, guiding me to ask the questions I needed to ensure a smooth transition from the hospital to the new place.
I am truly grateful for their help and they encourage any questions I have to reach out. Simply because my LO is placed doesn't shutoff communication.

The person who helped us/continues to help us is Annie. She is fantastic - she understands the nuances of interacting with the elderly and she is very knowledgeable about the assisted living facilities in the area. Our particular situation is challenging b/c my elderly uncle was living alone in LA while his closest relatives live in NJ and HI.
Annie was able to bridge the gap by bringing my uncle to different communities and making the visits uplifting and enjoyable. She helped expose my uncle to the idea of moving and she did it in a manner that was kind and comforting. I don't think his transition away from his home of 35 years would have been possible without the help that Annie provided (and continues to provide).
In addition to the help Annie provided to my uncle, she also helped me by getting me focused on certain tasks that needed to be completed to make the whole thing work. She informed me about necessary forms, helped bring my uncle to a doctor's appointment and let me know about the communities she was visiting with my uncle. She also recommended a mover who did a simply amazing job when the time came to move my uncle.
The other thing to consider is that the different communities in an area like LA are wide ranging - from places with six residents to 150. Having an expert like Annie was indispensable. She took the time to get to know my uncle then made recommendations based on his needs.
For anyone in the LA area who is considering this kind of move for a family member, do us all a favor and contact CarePatrol. I enthusiastically recommend them.

Guari and Annie were amazing. They were so reassuring and helpful. They found the most perfect home for my mom. They were great in supporting me both in finding a home and emotionally through the process. They were knowledgeable about programs that would help me pay for my mom’s care and connected me to the right people. Annie followed up with me after placement and visited with my mom.

First of all, I didn't know this kind of service existed and boy, did I hit the jackpot not only discovering this place, but working with Annie Sciarra! She is amazing! She says she's only been doing it for a short time, which I find hard to believe because of her extensive knowledge. She knows what she is doing, is compassionate, and funny, which makes the process so much more enjoyable. CarePatrol is extremely fortunate to have someone like her representing the company.

Annie was AMAZING! An angel sent to us by God Himself! She was knowledgeable, kind patient, and didn’t leave our side until everything was done! Then even went and found additional resources for us that were needed! Would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone!
