I worked with Kisha Steineger, who was named to me by a Stormont-Vail Health case manager as someone very knowledgeable about local care for seniors. That wasn't the half of it: Kisha's support and expertise was absolutely invaluable as we chose an assisted living facility for our 90-year-old mom, who had suffered a precipitous decline in physical and mental capacity. Kisha took time to learn about Mom, visited the house (so she could understand where and how Mom had been living alone for decades), counseled with me about the differences among facilities, and hung in there in an on-again, off-again search process that rapidly shifted from independent living to very high care needs. She toured four carefully chosen facilities with me, and with her help my brother and I were able to chose a place that can address Mom's many needs while preserving as much of her sense of self as possible. Kisha then followed up several times after Mom moved, showing her concern that our choice had in fact worked out. Kisha herself is a delight, both cheerful and sensitive in her approach: I felt personally supported as well as informed by her professional expertise. 10 stars out of 10.

Our family just can't say enough about Meda and the CarePatrol of NE Kansas. Meda provided the critical connection between our father's deep dementia condition and the proper community for his needs.
Before Meda and CarePatrol, we were at another "memory care" community and were experiencing over time the fact that this community could not address the needs of someone with profound dementia or Alzheimer's Disease; I caution anyone looking for a community for a loved one with anything deeper than stage 1 (out of 7) dementia to be very wary of these "memory care" communities... we found their care to be more like deeper and deeper levels of medication (which started our father falling and needing hospital care)...
BUT, that's when we met Meda and she provided so much education along with her years of working with people like our father. With Meda's resources we were fortunately to find a wonderful community that let's our father be exactly who he is given where he's at with his disease... it is NIGHT AND DAY difference. Meda was guiding, extremely knowledgeable, helped us compare communities, gave us very real and pragmatic advice and was there during tours during this tough time and this big decision.
If you are in our shoes, know YOU ARE NOT ALONE, and there are real and good people out there who can help... and we'd HIGHLY ENCOURGE you to talk with Meda at CarePatrol of NE Kansas. You will be in the most caring, skilled, and gracious hands. Meda has given our father a new and better opportunity... that's what living is all about. Thank you Meda!!!

Meda knows her business and the assisted living market. She makes what can be a very complicated and emotional decision manageable. The number of choices can be overwhelming. She breaks it down so that you consider the few that are the best match to your needs. She is professional, empathetic and very responsive. I recommend Meda to everyone I know that needs help with an assisted living decision.

I appreciated Meda's expertise in helping me narrow my search for a place for my mom moving here from out-of-state. She took much time going with me to places as we considered her needs. She encouraged me to look past a place's appearance only and had knowledge of reports and reputations of senior living places I was considering.

I didn’t even know where to start looking for a senior apartment for my father. I told Norah all the features my dad wanted and she very quickly had a list of places that fit them all. She arranged tours for us and we found exactly what my dad was looking for. And she has been checking back with us through the entire process and even after dad had moved in. I was so happy to have her help and it took so much stress off my plate. I couldn’t recommend Norah more.

I appreciated the information that CarePatrol was able to share with us about each place we visited that we would not have otherwise known. Meda at CarePatrol was also very flexible and was able to show us places at times that worked with our schedules. After telling her about our mother, she was able to assist us in asking the appropriate questions at each retirement community we visited. Her in-depth knowledge was invaluable!

We worked with Meda Green to place my dad in independent living and most recently assisted living. Meda also worked with me to place my sister. Meda is simply top of her game. She knows her business, makes the process manageable is very responsive and highly empathetic. She’s consistently exceeds expectations on every measure.

Nora Goebel was careful in listening to what we were looking for and provided us with great options. I had a list of 28 facilities I had pulled up and working with her and her expertise, we were able to place our friend into a beautiful facility in 5 days!! Nora is outstanding in her professionalism and knowledge of facilities. i WILL recommend her to any and all I find needing this type of service. Thanks, Ruth Corbett
