Amber was caring, kind and comforting. Compassionate about our Mother's needs and our family concerns. She was informative and detailed. Educated us with excellent guidance on all aspects of memory care placement and all the emotions that go along with it. She was a true advocate for us. During our facility visits, she asked questions to the directors that we didn't think of or may have forgotten. Since it was very emotional for us all. Truly, I believe that with Amber, the process went so much smoother. I thank God for help.

Since I was from out of town, I would’ve never been able to see all the places Amber took us which was in the area we wanted and the price range. She was very good and answered many questions and we were very satisfied with everything she did. She did a lot of follow up with us which was a big help. She was also very attentive to my sister and her friend who are both now residing in a facility that Amber took us to.

When I initially reached out to CarePatrol by asking online for a consult, I thought it was going to be an overwhelming task to help my family members with this stage of their lives. Amber was very helpful in our initial phone call, taking over one hour to ask me questions about my family's situation in trying to find an appropriate facility for both assisted living and memory care. She listened well and asked many questions to find out specific details for our situation. Shortly after this phone call, she sent me a list of three facilities in the geographic area that had the needed options for my family members. Once I reviewed the descriptions of the three facilities along with their complaint records, she set up all three tours for a day that worked well for me. Amber met me and another family member that day, and she went to all three communities with us, answering our questions at each place. She knows the staff at the facilities, and she helped me compare and contrast each place. She continued to advise us as to next steps once we chose one of the three communities and helped us with the steps to sign an agreement. She even checked in by text on moving day and about a week later to see how our family members were doing after moving to their new home. Amber saved us so much time, energy, and stress by providing invaluable information without delay or hassle in our facility search. The person we worked with was very friendly and very helpful. She helped us set up tour dates for potential assisted living places (with our preferences in mind). She also was very helpful in going on the tours with us and making sure that all of our questions were answered. She kept in contact with us after the visits with follow up questions we might have and once we picked a place she checked in to see how we were settling in and adjusting. Very friendly and personal, I’d give them 10 out of 10 stars and highly recommend their services!

Amber has a wealth of knowledge about the many senior living communities in this area. She really cares about helping you find the right community for your family. Amber responds quickly to all questions through email, text and phone calls to provide all the information you need to make a decision. Amber will schedule your visits and even be present at the appointment to guide you by asking questions of the tour guide that most of us wouldn’t ever know to ask! She maintains a very professional business presence yet is very personable and takes time to get to know you. I would recommend Amber to everyone looking for a senior living community!

Amber Slaughter was beyond helpful, the kind of help you couldn’t buy for a million dollars. With an extremely tight budget and timeline. Amber helped facilitate the multiple facets of rehab and assisted living, contacts with selling a home (in less than a month), and help with assistance in moving an entire house worth of memories. This could never had been accomplished without this diverse set of contacts and experience by all parties involved. Every step in dealing with Care Patrol, and their connected affiliations were useful with kind interactions of understanding. Amber was able to ask the right questions when I couldn’t and be informative on processes I had not previously experienced.

We were provided information regarding CarePatrol during my step-father's hospitalization in December. At the time neither he nor my mom were ready to leave their home, but my sister and I knew it was only a matter of time before such a change would be a necessity. Amber Slaughter was so wonderful to work with as we navigated the process of transitioning them to long-term care. She took the time to learn of their personal needs and provided us with a list of facilities that could provide the level of care needed within our budget, arranged for tours of each, met us at each facility and toured with us and followed up promptly with any questions we had. She provided information regarding a VA benefit my step-dad qualified for, legal counsel and the HATS program. She made an overwhelming and complex situation manageable which provided us with much peace of mind. My parents moved to their new "home" mid-May and mom absolutely loves it. My sister and I are extremely grateful to Amber for her time and care as she enabled us to find the best place for our parents to spend this next chapter in their lives.
