I was referred to CarePatrol by Renee Mills LSW at UT Health and Claudette Rochelle at Encompass in Sugar Land. Unfortunately, we were in a huge rush - which isn't that unusual - to find a suitable assisted living for my husband.
I spoke first to Kathryn Scott - who referred me to Quinn. Quinn was so helpful, efficient, knowledgeable and compassionate.
Both of us were so impressed and relieved. (Matt, our older son, was with me throughout the process).

I was so frustrated where I should move my aging mother. I couldn’t find the right place.
Someone gave me Kathryn’s name and number. In less than two hours I had several appointments set up. I could never have found these on my own.
I fell madly in love with the first place she took me. My mother is so happy and I can finally rest easy.
I highly suggest anyone looking to use this company. It is amazing!

Working with Kathryn [FIRST NAME REMOVED] was a true blessing during a challenging time for our family. She is a consummate professional who consistently went above and beyond her role with CarePatrol. Her communication skills were her greatest strength—clear, compassionate, and constant throughout the entire process.
As we faced the inevitable challenges that come with a major lifestyle change and move, Kathryn became the bridge between hospital discharge, facility admissions, and the operational staff at the new community. She made sure no detail slipped through the cracks and kept everyone aligned, which made a stressful time feel manageable. We were on a short deadline to find assisted living home for my mom with options for moving to independent soon once she recovers strength and mobility. Kathryn and Quinn were a great team, calling me continually whenever next steps and decisions were waiting on me to keep the process moving swiftly in time for discharge from rehab facility. They shortlisted the communities to ensure we didn’t waste time touring facilities that were not a good fit. They also helped on understanding alternative options like home health or outpatient rehab vs what insurance covers as well as personal home care homes as well. They did better explaining and being compassionate than even the case managers in our rehab facility supporting and explaining through every step. I truly appreciate all their help and guidance as this was my first time seeking care for a parent and had no idea where to start, what to look for, what questions to ask and more. We wouldn’t have made it through this process without them and would have had to bring my mom home with us and we are not trained or home 24/7 to provide the proper care she needs and this would have delayed her recovery significantly. Kathryn has 14 years experience as a physical therapy tech in a skilled nursing setting. This environment gave her a heart for the seniors she was serving and their families. Over and over again, as family's searched for care facilities, they asked Kathryn for recommendations. This led her to start a placement service and thus, Care Patrol was born 10 years ago.
Kathryn has knowledge of over 200 senior communities in the Katy/ Cypress area, and knows many of their sales associates and Exec Directors by name. Her services are free to families, and she is compensated by the community when your loved one becomes a resident.
I our case, my mom's combative and aggressive dementia journey, made her a difficult placement in memory care. The first facility Kathryn showed us ended up being the community we chose for Mom.
Kathryn, I will always be grateful for your timely responses to my questions, your caring inquiries when we chased some rabbit trails on our own, your listening ear and prayers when we wanted to give up, and your professional help with paperwork as we got to the finish line. It was an arduous journey, and you stuck with as like a faithful friend.
