My father-in-law had a second stroke in April and the ALF he was in, could not possibly give him the care he needed so I began looking up all of the ALF's in the Winston-Salem area. After several days of trying to find one on my own, I was referred to Gina Gordon of Care Patrol. I called her on a Thursday morning at 8:30, and by 10:30 she had lined up 3 visits to facilities THAT DAY. She knew the ones in the area that had better care than the one he was in. With her strong nursing background and passion for helping others, we trusted her immediately.
If you are in the Winston-Salem area and are needing, or may need in the future, a place for yourself or your loved one, do yourself a huge favor and CALL GINA!!!!

Gina was super nice and very helpful in finding my mother an affordable assisted living facility that could meet all of her care needs. Definitely recommend her to anyone needing help in finding and transitioning their loved one to an assisted living or nursing facility. Gina seems to really care about her client's/patient's well being and strives to find what works best for their particular care needs.

I worked with care patrol first in Florida and then here in North Carolina. Kerry patrol helped me extensively and finding a place for my mother and help me every step of the way until she was secure in her new location. I personally dealt with two great people in the process. Alexis in Florida was fantastic and very knowledgeable and efficient. In North, Carolina, Gina, what is our advocate and took care of all the details for us with all the different facets involved.
I would highly recommend care patrol to anyone looking for professional, good service and providing all the necessary details in locating and placing a loved one in the right location and place for them to live and get the care they need.

Gina made the whole process smooth and offered valuable insight. She made all the appointments and was flexible when we had to change something at the last minute. She stayed in contact and was available during the whole process. She made a stressful situation so much easier for my mother and all my siblings. I would and have recommended her to friends and received a big thank you as they had a similar experience.

Gina Gordon was kind and genuinely concerned when she heard of the severity of our situation. She immediately got to work and found an excellent placement for the level of care my mother requires. We were able to move my mother in within 48 hours of the initial call to Gina. We are so grateful for her assistance and thankful that my mother is getting the level of care that she needs.

Gina Gordon from Care Patrol was really a savior to me and my family. My father who had been 100% independent, amazingly healthy, and still an active writer, researcher, and speaker, had a stroke one day that totally affected the portions of his brain dealing with verbal comprehension. Physically he was not limited but over night, he became a person that has some off the speech and emotionally lability of a toddler while needing round the clock care and MANY adjuncts put in place (safety, new living arrangements, speech therapy, etc.). Plus his medical care network is hundreds of miles away in his primary residence city.
Gina helped me - the middle of three sons and Power of Attorney for my Dad - find the right care despite his somewhat unique care profile (physically unlimited, distant geographic medical and familial support system, and all-of-a-sudden significant cognitive deficits). I often felt at my wit's end with nowhere to turn, ignorant to what my dad needed, caught between short-term, expensive, and wanting-to-discharge hospitals/ rehabs, and the wishes (although hard to understand) of my Dad. Not only did Gina know all of the possibilities, but she also had great relationships to the leadership of many different facilities, and thereby was able to help facilitate the "square peg in a round hole" that my Dad and his needs were turning out to be. But, by far the biggest benefits were Gina's kindness to me and my father, patience through millions of questions, advocacy to different facilities and staff (like getting a rehab to keep my Dad a little longer as the next placement location was difficult to finalize), and literally around-the-clock availability. I said to my family many times that "Gina took me off the ledge" meaning that this shocking life event - my Dad's stroke - left me feeling so hopeless and helpless many times...Gina was always there to offer advice and many possible pathways that helped my Dad in his recovery and really improved my mental health and well-being during this stressful time. Care Patrol of Winston-Salem is LITERALLY a life-saver!

Gina is so warm, friendly, and professional. I appreciated her knowledge and expertise when I needed to find an assisted living facility for my mother. She is an excellent communicator, and anytime we had questions, she was available to answer them. I highly recommend CarePatrol of Winston-Salem, it has been a great experience!

My 86 year old Dad was no longer going to be able to stay at home when this 3rd physical rehab treatment ended. I needed some viable longer term living solutions for him and fast.
By GOD's grace, mercy and favor, I "stumbled upon" an ad for Mrs. Gina Gordon @ CarePatrol W/S! She responded to me that same day, and she was able to do an initial assessment on my Dad the next day. With her care, guidance, patience and professionalism, we were able to quickly narrow down the "viable choices" to 2 facilities. She made this challenging life event, about as easy as it is going to get for all involved.
She served my Dad and me very well under a very stressful situation. I was also doing a lot of this long distance from Columbia, SC.
