We absolutely love Children’s Discovery Center! CDC was my families first experience with daycare and it was so smooth. The teachers and staff all know my son’s name and I feel truly care for and love him. We feel beyond lucky to be at CDC.

We absolutely love CDC! The staff is always warm, welcoming, and knows every child by name. The teachers are truly amazing—loving, attentive, and deeply invested in each child’s growth. The academics have exceeded our expectations, and we’ve watched both of our children blossom into confident, well-rounded learners. Katie Carter is an incredible director who truly cares about each child as an individual and consistently goes the extra mile to ensure every need is met with compassion, dedication, and excellence. We couldn’t be happier with our experience! I highly recommend CDC!

The teachers and staff are all wonderful and very caring. Everyone greets my daughter and me by name, even teachers who aren’t her main teachers. My daughter has been at the CDC for 1.5 years and we couldn’t be happier. She learns so much and comes home with cute artwork almost daily. She attends the extracurricular activities offered during school time and enjoys going there very much. I highly recommend the CDC and we’ll be sad once it’s time to go to elementary school. At least I know she’s getting prepared for school in the best way possible!

I am incredibly grateful for my child’s daycare and the loving environment it provides every day. From the moment we walk in, I feel confident knowing my child is safe, supported, and genuinely cared for. The staff is patient, attentive, and truly invested in each child’s growth and happiness. I love how they encourage learning through play while also teaching important social and emotional skills. My child comes home smiling, which means everything to me. This daycare has become an extension of our family, and I appreciate them more than words can express.

All the teachers seem to know all the kids which highlights just how caring and community-centric the culture is. My only critique is the authorized pickup process. Having to manually authorize an authorized person to pickup each day defeats the purpose of the an authorized pickup list in the first place.

We learned we were expecting our third child 6 years after our other children moved from CDC to kindergarten. We were welcomed back with open arms, and to my surprise, even after that amount of time, many of the staff and leadership were all still in place. It was such a joy to see so many familiar faces, and comforting to know this wonderful team would also be caring for our new little one. I have nothing but positive things to say about Katie and her team here in Mount Pleasant!!!
