Me and my wife signed up about a month ago, we like the place. The staff have all been very nice, the equipment is in good shape and only seen a couple machines down but not for long periods of time. The price per month seems fare for what is included.
I feel comfortable working out at Chuze fitness, even as an older woman. The atmosphere has a comfortable vibe. The weight machines have clear instructions and many of them have 2 each. I appreciate the friendliness and professionalism of the staff members. They are respectful and helpful, too.
My one and only complaint is really beyond your control, because it concerns "machine hogs" who tie up a machine (and sometimes multiple machines) for 25 minutes or more. I'm not the only one with this complaint. Many of us like to go in, "get 'er done" and get on with the day, and you guys can't be constantly monitoring everyone. Personally, I had trouble with one guy who tied up three different machines while he took his sweet time, with a towel on one machine, a water bottle on a second machine, and his keys on a third one. I made an enemy for sure; he won't even look me in the eye any more. No big deal, though. His loss, not mine. I'm not sure if it's a bad idea, but would it be possible to place notices here and there, since this behavior is not allowed, but you guys can't constantly monitor people? Otherwise, Chuze is my favorite gym by far. Thanks!
The staff at my Chuze Gym on 22nd are the best. They are very friendly and the place is super-clean. I love seeing the regulars there and have made some really nice acquaintances. I appreciate the equipment variety and will probably use this gym forever.
