It has everything. From Cardio to all types of machines. It may not have enough space but thats a San Diego Problem. I recommend the Infrared room, after a workout it does give me the extra boost I am looking for. I like how they always have the wipes for you in every corner so that you can wipe off the equipment once you are done. Overall I recommend this gym.
The staff all seem to love what they do and they seem to work very well together - I never overhear typical disgruntled coworker conversation with zero eye contact, it's always legitimate conversation, interest in how I'm progressing with my goals and smiling, engaging communication skills. Chuze is hands down the cleanest gym I've been in - my only suggestion would be more signage to Wipe Down After Using for the infrared and traditional sauna. Generally speaking people do not comprehend how much body fluids (not just "sweat") are left behind and with this being an obvious shared space, there will always be someone right behind ready to utilize that same space for its awesome benefits - bringing notice could help ensure no one has to sit in someone's soup made of buttcrack poop sweat and mildewed clothes that didn't get dried in the dryer just to use the recovery features. Overall this gym is absolutely incredible, the hydro massage beds are always in working condition and full force, and the smoothie bar has great supplements that have really changed the game for me.
I love that the personnel in this gym are so friendly and kind. They keep the gym clean. My only complaint is the WiFi - they use Tunity, and it never coordinates with the TV program I watch (HGTV) -- it's always several seconds off, which is disconcerting. I love that there is an InfraRed sauna, and HydroMassage available. This is great for me, as I am healing from cancer surgery.
My home gym is La Mesa but I drive to Mission to take Dalal’s classes. It’s the best yoga class I’ve taken in San Diego! Thank you Chuze for having quality instructors with an affordable gym membership.
