The sense of community, family, and helping one another … especially seniors. To see my fellow seniors playing dominoes or strumming ukuleles, just meeting together to enjoy and support one another in a safe environment. And of course for them to excercise with a knowledgeable coach to get them started and to encourage them. What the Y does for seniors is amazing.
Very nice place with friendly staff and members. I went to a water class and it was very comfortable. The teacher knew a lot of names and asked for mine. She did the exercises and it was pretty informal while still being effective.
Michelle, one of your people working in the exercise area taught me the right way to use the machines and was very helpful. I like the variety of ways a person can keep their body moving, between classes, swimming, and exercise equipment.
More specifically, Jeremy and the other instructors have a lot of patience. There have been behavior issues with some of the kids and they’ve rolled with it.
