Clermont Y, You currently have a yellow and white water treadmill that’s sitting on the deck of the indoor pool. From what I can tell it hasn’t ever been used and been there for months. I asked the lifeguards if they could help me put it in the water so I could use it I was told…..they didn’t know how to do it and don’t even know if it’s even been used yet. I would like to try and use it. I’m a longtime member there. I know it’s a donated item, instructions are probably online, but let’s see if we can get it up and going if it’s there, and please don’t put it in storage so we don’t see it. All that needs to be done is to be put in the corner of the lower section of the shallow end for people to use it. It probably takes two people to get in and out of the water. Or leave it in the water, it’s a relatively smaller item. Thank you very much-[NAME REMOVED]-Clermont YMCA Member
I love the water classes. I am able to work at my own pace. I can be weightless, work hard and not injure myself. My water instructor Cathy Haman does everything she can to keep the class interesting. Her music is always fun to listen to and sing along with.
On Fridays there is a shallow water and a deep water volleyball game.
I also belong to the synchronized swim team, Synchro Sisters and it is just the best. As a team sport the camaraderie is wonderful. Any synchronized effort depends on counting to work so I am engaging my mind while I exercise my body. This is truly a mind body soul experience.
