I went in to buy a helmet and was assisted quickly and helpfully. The associate showed me the differences between a couple of models that suited my needs, helped me try them on, and brought out a new color for me that wasn’t on the shelves yet (which was the color I went with).
Took a quick look around the shop while I waited and it’s small but mighty! Great selection. Also love that they have a crash replacement policy for their helmets.
Thank you!
Andrew was fantastic! His approach, knowledge, and attention sealed the deal for me to purchase from this store. I strongly support stores that have great customer experience and Cobble Hill Trek meets that expectation.
My bike got pretty banged up while in storage over the past year. I just moved into the neighborhood and was referred to this as the best place to go. They fixed it up in one day and for a terrific price. I am no bike expert and I completely trust that they did not take advantage of my lack of knowledge, which is huge these days in general...I noticed a big difference in how it rides after their service. The people in the shop are lovely too. Highly recommend!
Great service; staff was very friendly and attentive. Very thorough work done on my 50 year old Italian racing bike and was completed in very timely manner.
The team at Cobble Hill are outstanding. From the manager Andrew to the front of house mechanic/salesperson/Asst Manager, Alex G, to Andrew P the salesperson, Aaron and the star mechanic in the back, Alex...
The best, friendliest and most knowledgable folks. I wish I had an unlimited budget to buy many more bikes.
Amazing team.
Extra special shoutout to Alex Garcia.
Got a "level two" service and replaced chain and brake pads. I brought the bike in, it was looked over, then service was suggested and agreed to. That only took a few minutes. I got an appointment for about a week later, which meant I could plan to be without my bike for only a day. It came back looking and riding like new. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The guys where funny and engaged. Either trained sales people or talented personalities. Great with children. They insured a sale without being pushy at all.
I clocked out of work only to discover my front tire was completely flat like pancake-flat. I figured it just needed some air, so I did a quick Google search… only to realize most bike shops are closed on Mondays (because of course they are when you need them most). The only one open and until 6:00PM was Trek Bicycle in Cobble Hill, so I power-walked my bike there like I was in the Tour de France, Flat Tire Edition.
I rolled up at exactly 6:00 PM door still open and slipped inside hoping for a quick top-off with the pump. The gentleman who helped me was incredibly friendly and took a look at my wheel right away. Turns out, it wasn’t just low on air, my front tire and tube were completely shot, riddled with holes. Honestly, after 13 years of daily riding in all conditions: rain, snow, potholes, and the occasional broken glass buffet, I can’t say I was shocked. I’ve been airing them up pretty regularly this past year, which probably should’ve been my sign. What really surprised me was that I had just had a full tune-up and inspection at my regular bike shop two days prior, and no one mentioned that my tires were basically waving a white flag. Even though it was closing time, he kindly replaced my tires efficiently and professionally, staying way past 6:00 PM to make sure I had a safe ride home. That level of customer service is rare and truly appreciated. Exceptional service, knowledgeable staff, and they saved me from walking my bike home. Smoothest ride in forever! I’ll definitely be considering Trek for my next tune-up — my bike clearly approves of the I clocked out of work only to discover my front tire was completely flat — like pancake-flat.
