My son has been able to make a lot of progress in his coding fundamentals and enjoys going to the classes. The teachers are good at engaging with the students. The facility is clean and inviting. All the staff is very helpful and friendly.
Things started off slow for my Son, but he stayed engaged, as the verbage used was games that he was and is playing.
I like the baseline of code ninja's.. start at the bottom and work the kids upwards. While my Son may not be a software developer in his future, I am very thankful he has something to build from if he does.
This is a great place for kids to learn how to code! The staff is very friendly and helpful, and my daughter is making a lot of progress in the program. She loves her time at Code Ninjas.
Code Ninjas make for easy and low-stress enter into the world of coding. There is not many programs for 7-years-ild to start from and this is probably the best one.
I like that the software development is centered around gaming, which currently my Son is 100% into.
If it was just plain old shove the code stuff down the throat in a classroom, that wouldn't last very long, and it wouldn't be fun or exciting.
This method caters what looks like mainly kids who have an interest in gaming. It provides a baseline of which they can build their skillset from.
Given the coding is based on current popular games, it still creates that baseline of which they could venture into something else, like business application development someday.
While my son is doing pretty good in the online classes, I'm hoping to get him into a Code Ninja's Dojo soon when the new one opens up and is closer to home.
I wish there was an adult version of Code Ninja's, as all the programming classes I took, I learned nothing and struggled through getting programs done. The constant lecture after lecture with pictures that really meant nothing did nothing for me.
My Son eagerly awaits for his appointment time so he can the next lesson in.
The instructors at code ninja's seem to know how to talk to the kids in their respective classes and keep them involved.
I see this as money well spent and I'm glad I clicked on the ad to see what Code Ninja's was all about.
