The guys showed up as promised, polite, hard working, the stuff went away while I was working from my iPad, I looked up and it was gone, perfect. $$ ** I found the web site "unofficial auto estimate of truck space & the cost" pretty accurate. Always round up 20%, lets face it, once we start moving stuff out, there is always more "stuff" then we thought. The most helpful thing was they made the mattress go away. It is hard to make those things go away, no one wants a used mattress. I am a Realtor and there are times my customer from around the world instruct and authorize me to.... just "make stuff go away", this is a great option for me to help assist my customers from time to time. They knew they were running late due to a load that was much bigger than expected earlier in the day. They called immediately to let me know so I wasn't stuck sitting at home all day waiting for them, instead of calling 5 minutes before my appointment time is over (like most other companies). They were in constant contact, so even though they were 20mins past my appointment time I didn't care due to their courtesy. While here, they moved the furniture quickly and cleanly. They also spoke perfect English which is very helpful! You will be hearing from me again! YOU GUYS ROCK!
Team did not finish the job on the first day. They left items outside the property; inside was all a mess with junk everywhere, floors dirty. Etc.
I complaint the next morning and the service team and the area lead called and apologized which I was very grateful.
That said, I then received a call that there was an additional payment needed! A charge for $300 for the work done on the following day?
Just to recap on the experience we had: 02/24 the team gave as a quote when arrived for the entire work to be done at $460. At the end of the day they then said there was more than expected so needed to come back and the additional charge was going to be $120 to $200 when we believed it was all going to be covered from the initial quote.
Following day on 02/25 a new $300 charge appeared! So not even the second and unexpected charge was right?
I had other options that I wanted to consider. Our hope was to get a quote and say: Y, N based on that quote we received.
I think we should improve there. Perhaps written quote or something that we can relate to and avoid misunderstandings.
This is not service that I was expecting.
One of the drawers of our dresser was dropped and it broke pretty bad because the two guys were hauling it sideways without securing the drawers or taking them out. The drawers had slipped moments before and they didn't think to take them out so when they put it in the truck it fell all the way out and hit hard. I'd like for the guys to make sure loose parts don't fall to their deaths next time.
The only thing I would recommend is more interactions with the customers. I was waiting for a phone call to confirm my order and I didn't get that call. I had to call back. Other that that, the hunk that helped me were great.
It truly is stress free. The hunks arrived on time, we're professional, fast and very polite and communicated clearly. They showed the utmost care for our belongings. Will definitely use them again for any future move. Thanks

Jesus and Hughes were pleasant, professional and very helpful with all requests. They worked non-stop...even through lunch. I have already and will continue to highly recommend College Hunks ---and especially Jesus and Hughes!
The painting of the walls was scratched and my wood floor was damaged, horrible service. I was donating my sofa, I paid$165, but all these damages are going to cost me much more. I will not recommend your service at all. I will also call to make a formal complaint
