Everything went smoothly with the whole process. Prior to the move as well as on the move day, I received updates regarding arrival time. I had both 'Moving Hunks' and "Junk Hunks" on the same day - all were professional and hard working. They worked together to ensure everything went in the right truck. Donald asked Stefan to sweep up the debris but it never happened . It took me about 30 minutes to sweep up in preparation for the major repair work to be done to my basement.
then yesterday evening, I found a major chip on the corner of my hallway leading out the basement door. they did not bother to inform me
about the damage. I should have gone down to the basement before they left but I trusted them and they seemed like hard workers. I did notice that the supervisor kept calling Don saying that the job was taking too long. Maybe Don would have seen the debris if he had not
felt rushed to leave our home. otherwise they did a good job and I would have cleaned out the rest of the basement using College Hunks. But I need to find someone cheaper and when I am not rushed due to the repairmen coming on Monday. thanks for the opportunity to vent my concerns. I even gave them a $20 tip which was my senior citizen discount.
Exceptional service! Andrew and Roger called to alert us that they were on their way. They gave us an estimate promptly upon arrival and worked so quietly that we hardly knew they were in the house. Having removed junk from basement, garage, and bonus room, they must have swept up all three, as each location was left clean and tidy. Not only will we use College Hunks Hauling Junk again, we will request Andrew and Roger when we do.
Great attitudes. They quickly completed jobs that stress me out in no time at all - completely painless for me! They also asked more than once if there was anything else they could take or move for me while they were there - I appreciate the consideration - you don't always think of everything when you book the appt.
Knowledge, professionalism, willingness to go the extra mile (literally in our case because of a power outage at our move-in address), friendliness, fulfilled all requests to some extras. We have used both Hauling Junk and Moving.
I previously submitted my feedback a few days ago. I mentioned that everything was great except that one of the guys dropped a box of screws and nails in the driveway, and my husband had to clean sweep the area to make sure no one got a flat tire from the nails.
