Your website said we would get a price estimate prior to loading and we were given a price of $365. It ended up costing almost 62% more than that at $590. The reason given was that our six pieces of furniture took up the entire truck. We feel that with better arranging inside the truck, our furniture would have taken a lot less space, i.e. putting the drawers back into the dressers, stacking end tables, etc. Because we were the only ones putting stuff in the truck, we feel they just put it in taking the entire area available to avoid sliding during transport. A good estimator should be able to provide an estimate that falls within 10 to 15 percent of the actual cost. By the time we were told it would be $590, the truck was loaded and we felt we had no recourse. We gave the go ahead based on $365 never dreaming they would be so far off the actual cost. Had they estimated $590, I don't believe we would have continued. We feel a fair price would be 10 - 15 percent above the estimate or $401 to $420.
You come to us and take our stuff..to either donate to those who can use what we no longer can, or dispose of properly and responsibly! All while being very courteous and professional..not only will we call again, but will highly rev commend you to our family and friends!
The guys who hauled our stuff were prompt, courteous, respectful of our home, efficient, and pleasant. I especially appreciated that Kyle called us the day before we were scheduled to confirm the appointment, particularly since I didn't receive either of two email confirmations that were supposed to be sent (and may have been, but I didn't receive them) from the central office. Overall, great job.
