I called Christian at the Marietta ComforCare on a Thursday morning and informed him my Mom was being released from the hospital that day, and I would need someone at 4pm and going forward 24/7 for minimally the next two weeks. He made it happen! We encountered a few bumps in the road with some of the initial caretakers assigned, but that was to be expected, the coordinator, Allison, had to quickly figure out the schedule. Once we got established, we had a daytime and nighttime caregiver who was consistently on the schedule (for three days/nights), which helped a lot! My sister and I felt that we could actually take a breather, as they knew what to do and what my Mom needed. However, getting new caretakers assigned often was difficult for my Mom as she would sometimes forget who was who, and it was very difficult for my sister and I as we felt we were constantly training people. I want to shout out to Immaculate, Millie and Tamika as these three caretakers truly cared for my Mom.
If I ever need caregivers in the future, I will definitely reach out to Christian and his team at ComForCare Marietta.
The ComForCare company has provided wonderful around the clock people to be with my mother who is near the end of life that is enabling her to remain at home. They are doing a great job with baths assisting with cooking cleaning and bathroom needs. Their scheduling, management and communication has been excellent.
My mom really enjoys the visits from the assigned caretaker who comes each week.
This is a huge improvement from last year when the 2 caretakers who visited my mom from a different company did not like working with my mom and my mom didn't like them, either.
So, the right person definitely makes a difference in the experience my mom has.
We have had the pleasure of receiving services from several care assistants with ComForCare. All of them have been punctual, caring of my love one, customer focused, reliable, accept feedback well and willing to go the extra mile if necessary.
