The experience we have had with ComforCare has been a blessing to us. The outstanding care and support ComforCare administration and staff provide mom with, shows true professionalism, while at the same time showing compassion, patience and respect to help maintain her comfort and dignity at a private facility. Their reliability and attentive approach have given us peace of mind. We have been especially impressed by the kindness they show during every visit and their willingness to go above and beyond to meet mom's needs. They provide excellent communication at all times and work with us to ensure the utmost care an elderly person needs at this stage in their lives. Mom feels safe, valued, and well cared for. Our family is grateful for the positive difference ComforCare has made in her quality of life and would highly recommend their services to other families seeking care for their loved ones.

The office staff were always on top of things and good about letting me know of potential schedule changes, overtime, etc. They worked with me to find a different aide when there was a personality mismatch with my mom, who is very stubborn. All of the aides were uniformly very good at their job and reliable. They always did their best to help my mom with her daily activities regardless of her mood. I would use this company again in a heartbeat.

Comforcare has matched my mom with the perfect, well trained caregivers. They are especially trained in dementia...and our caregivers use all the tools. My mom feels safe with them, even tho she can't remember their names nor when they come. But she does remember how they make her feel and she smiles when they show up for their shift.

The entire staff, from the owner to the schedulers, assessment nurse and caregivers, are knowledgeable and focused on providing the best situation possible for my mom. They work well with the staff at my mother's housing unit and let me know if there are things I can provide from a distance, as I do not live close by. They treat my mom with care and humor, which makes her happier with her situation, as well as encouraging her to do her mobility exercises.

Working with the staff at Comforcare is like working with loving members of my family. There is not a doubt in my mind that they have my cognitively impaired mother's best interests at heart. The Comforcare scheduler is always available to reschedule our caregiver when changes in our calendars come up - vacation, MD appointments, etc. I know my mom is in excellent hands and is well cared for all the time. My mom was matched with the perfect caregiver, Jenny....and while my mom never remembers her name, she does remember how she makes her feel and is delighted every time she shows up on her doorstep. Jenny helps my mom do the things she loves best, going shopping, eating healthy, and making dinner. Because of Jenny's consistent presence, my mom has settled into a nice regular routine, and the irregular sleep patterns that she had been suffering have completely stopped. The owner Debbie personally stopped by during this past Christmas season to deliver a gift of a cozy Comforcare throw blanket and Christmas card to my mom. My mom and I were delighted at this simple, yet profound gesture. I cannot recommend Comforcare of Northern Fairfax enough to anyone who has a loved one that needs extra help. They are great care partners for sure!
