HomeforCare provides wonderful caretakers for our Mom. currently the lady that comes and has been coming for about 9 months, takes educational classes on a regular basis to keep her up with the care of issues the elderly may have. She just finished one on dementia which my mother happens to have. the manager is always trying to fill any needed times we may need if for some reason our regular lady cannot be here. It is a bit more costly than some of the other places we've looked at, but not by much. I do prefer though that there is not a 4 hour minimum. There are times we have needed only a couple hours. That is the only reason for the 9 and not 10 rating.

John Trumpeter the owner was totally prepared to handle any questions we had. His staff members were spectacular. One member (Janice) we had her from 8:00pm to 8:00am to help all week watch our mother. Janice sat in my father’s office chair just outside the doorway leading into my mother bedroom. When she would get up, it was to vacuum, clean and or wash dishes at night. What a hard worker every night. John has a great group of poeple. They are smart, hard workers with awesome personalities. I would recommend them too anyione.

The care takers that this company send are always very good companions for my mother. She has enjoyed them all. My mother needs very little care medically so I can't attest to that aspect but I am sure they would also be qualified well. Our caretakers have always been punctual so we are never late for our activities. We have seen a few different caretakers in the past year, but John always has someone to cover, or replace, the person we were seeing if they had to travel or was no longer able to come. Easy to communicate with John and replies to any inquiries are quick.

They have been very responsive to our needs. When issues have arisen, they are addressed immediately. John does a great job of communicating when schedules change for any reason, and works very diligently to be sure there is coverage when needed.
