A good hot sweat, stretching, balancing, strengthening, mind to breath to movement, brain reset, and the instructor Lisa V!! She had a calm clear voice and gave specific cues, had a unique flow, and gave adjusts and assists to ensure we had the correct postures. Couldn’t believe it was her first corepower class to teach!
Our instructor, Kristin Adams, was amazing! For only her second week teaching class, she felt like a pro. She had amazing song choices. Definitely would take her class again!
I liked everything especially the cleanliness. What needs to be addressed is the fact that the people who leave class early carry their weights over the students on their mats. The teachers never say a word to them. This is extremely dangerous. Pls address immediately.
I think your instructors are great and am always challenged by the classes. I love the varying weights - too many gyms just have 2, 3, and 5 lb. weights. That said, I wish y'all incorporated resistance bands into your workouts to kick things up another level...
The studio at PH is nice. I love the C2 yoga classes, high number of them so I can practice when my schedule permits, and the addition of the HPF class at this location. (I was missing it from my former primary studio at Preston Forest.) Most importantly, I love the quality of instructors at CorePower. They are each welcoming, experienced, and interested in our feedback, as well as guidance and interest in improving our practices individually.
Actual yoga classes are my preference. I have brought people in to the studio who feel the same. A strong teacher with good energy and skilled instruction is imperative to people returning to a C2 class, especially when they’re new. If the teacher is unskilled, people who are new to yoga will get confused and turned off. Time slots are also so important. Would love to see a 6am C2 at this location. 5:15 is WAY too early, and 8:00 is hard for anyone with a job or kids.
