Still my favorite, still feels like family. That studio is the embodiment of santosha. It is presence, peacefulness, and contentment. Jamie and her staff have done a phenomenal job crafting a truly open and accepting environment. It’s fun, it’s familiar, and it’s special. My lips curve up and my shoulders drop down every time I hit the door.

The studio was so clean, the bathrooms are stocked with anything you could need from hair ties to mouthwash. My instructor Emily was so high energy, encouraging, and AMAZING!!

It felt so good to walk back through those doors. I had been away for a couple of months and it was an absolute delight to return. We sometimes take for granted the tethering effect that happy acquaintances bring to a place: the nods of acknowledgement, the familiarities of faces, people that know your name and are happy to see you. There’s a peace to that and I was glad to settle back into it. Tennyson is the embodiment of Santosha: like warm sunshine on closed eyes.
