Overall very good, my only gripe is that each teacher has their own idea of what “hot” is. I enjoy heat, but not staggering. The first time I took class in Delmar 3 ppl left the class bc it was way too hot.
When I took yoga sculpt at UTC it was much better.
Took the exact same yoga sculpt class at DelMar highlands and again was uncomfortably hot (but this class had more ppl in it)
Girls leaving the class were noting that it was much hotter than other classes they had taken of the exact same format . Just feel this is important overall general feedback for instructors. …. We came for hot/sweaty,?but aren’t trying to pass out in the summer
Love the classes love the teachers! They are the nicest, kindest, sweetest and skilled teachers in the world. They make me happy so show up and work out every time I walk in the door.
I enjoyed my CP experience at La Jolla, as a guest from your Rock Center NYC location. The C2 class hit the spot after a long night of travel and hotel and added some challenges I am interested in mastering. The class instructor was organized, on time, and commanded her class very well. I left class with a plan to improve my balance.
I love my instructors and the set up of my classes. I was intimidated at first but Core is definitely my preferred workout. 10 lbs down- I feel amazing
Love the studio and very convenient but I miss the the 7:30am HPF M-F. Also, seems like there are quite a few cancellations during the mid-day classes.
I LOVE my Yoga Sculpt 6:00 am classes. I am a recent member and I am obssessed. I used to train at the 24 Hr Fitness Gym at UTC and since they're going rennovations I decided to join Core Power after one of my friends introduced me to it with her Buddy Pass, and then I tried the free week.
I've been going at least 4 times during the week at 6:00am, and my day has improved so much.
I love it. I have loved the subs better than Rebeca for Tuesday and Thursday classes. No hate to her or anything. She's good and kind. However, I find her teaching style too fast-paced and hard to follow. I prefer other subs like Madden and Kiandra who have more controlled and slow paced teaching styles, leading to an intense sculpting and BURNING workout!
I also love Lindsey V's 8:30 Hot Fusion class on Thursdays and Yoga Sculpt on Saturday at 9:15am.
We planned a sisterhood with them for a group of our sorority girls at UCSD and had the best experience! They were so helpful in planning the event and made everything run so smoothly. The girls had such a great time and the class was perfect for a lot of our first timers. I would love to partner with them again and would recommend anyone to check them out for a group event!
I took adisons strength X full body class and was very disappointed. She rushed through class and did too many compound moves which made it confusing to all . Didn’t help others who were struggling with the excercise . I have taken many strength X classes to know this instructor needs more training and shouldn’t be teaching this format .
The teachers are incredible - warm, authentic, and so thoughtful about the flows. I appreciate the availability of classes and studios in my area, it makes it easy to make my practice consistent, which is my most important need when looking for a studio.
An important piece of critical feedback - can you please have teachers/staff reinforce that studio space should be quiet before class begins? I've noticed that students have become very loud and chatty, some even using their phones in the studio space. Sometimes, coming to class is my only quiet time opportunity of the day.
Also - please, PLEASE get some more weights! The 8lb and 5lb weights always run out and there are many weights that are peeling/falling apart.
I really enjoyed my visit. It has been years since I experienced a Core Power Yoga class. The front desk greeted me and your facility was clean. Parking was easy - no searching for a place since you have a parking lot. Thanks again.
