Enjoy the inside walking track and the workout equipment. The pool is very nice and the staff is friendly. In reading the rules for walking the inside walking track, we noticed that one of the rules is to try to refrain from using your cell phone. There is one particular person that uses his cell phone to listen to the news etc. it is very loud and is annoying to others. We would hope that the rules are enforced so others can enjoy there walks without being disturb by a loud cell phone you can hear all the way across the track.

Your facility is brilliant. It offers a range of activities, and user friendly hours. It is well used, but not swarmimg with people. I use the pool, which is the best In the area. The staff are flexible (opening up extra swimming lanes if the lanes are busy) and friendly. I wish we had this facility in Black Mountain.

The variety,however, the Y can do more for the homeless and offer other sports like volleyball and softball for girls, boys, and other adults.

I love the new strength and balance class! Beth Pritchard is very skilled at moving the class along, which is improving my strength and balance. Beth keeps the class moving at a gentle pace, which also enhances my extended cardiovascular ability. She is also very clear about being wise and taking the easier option whenever needed. I continue to admire your diversity statement.

The weight lifting room is great with various machines and is spacious even when it's crowded. The basketball court is also very nice especially with the walking track up top. The classes are a great way to get the best out of your workout as well. The staff has also been very friendly and helpful as well.
