new bike sales-you take the time to actually find out what the customer is intending to do with a bike to inform your suggestions/you don't push people in a particular direction/give them some thoughts/leave them to make their own minds up, but it is real world cycling advice from people who are enthusiastic about cycling and 'do it'. also, even if it is only 'basic', taking the time to make sure a new bike 'fits' likewise in service-you take the time to explain what needs doing, document proposed charges, agree to a time and stick to it/talk through what you've done/show the customer neither of which other cycle shops tend to do well/consistently.

Why I buy from Criterium? Local Business, Friendly knowledgeable people, Great products, The Trek back up, Amazing service. It's all about the people and the service these days, I see so many people on bike pages on Facebook moaning about when there bike breaks down and they have to wait weeks to get it sorted because they bought it online, Just buy local and get the back up and service you deserve, it's not always about the price! Keep up the good work guys.

I admit it I'm a bit of a trek fan so therefore Criterium has a head start. However there are other Trek dealers around but in my opinion not with the same level of service, (never changed in all the years I've been going to Criterium) and the commitment to the customer, which is the best Ive known, their knowledge, experience and customer forced care is literally second to none. This review is not based on one member of the team but all of the guys that work or that have worked there over the years. If I had to use one word that describes Criterium and the team it would be commitment, oh and assume but that two words.
