Ive been going to Criterium as my go to bike shop since I started biking, well almost, circa March 2014 were we initially tripped over them and popped in for some advice. MTB is our thing, Susan and I have over the years bought all our bike from Criterium (thanks Paul). It down to their open and honest approach, the level and quality of service and servicing no to mention the no nonsense no quibbling over any issue that is or could be a warranty, not that there has been many especially within the Trek specific products, but we have had them, and the entire team at Criterium strive to address any issue as quickly as possible and always keeping us informed. Product wise, well we are sold on Trek and mainly due to the after care provided by Criterium and the staff. Once again when we decided to add to the stable of bikes with gravel bikes we listened to friends did some research on the internet and then went to see Paul. Where once again we talked through what we wanted the bikes for (terrain, time in saddle, price range ect) and ended up agreeing the bike that would best suit us both. During this discussion Keith had set to and repaired a couple of issues on my existing bike. So once again fantastic service, Criterium delivering great service and support, so thanks for the advice service and getting back on the trails so quickly. What else can I say it's just what they do.
Staff are very knowlegeable about their products, and obviously into cycling in a big way. Friendly and helpful and not at all pushy. If you want to just browse it is fine, I felt under no pressure to make a purchase. I must have visited and chatted at least 4 times over a period before I made the leap.
My wife and I have bought several bikes from Paul at criterium and the whole experience was faultless, the guys know their stuff from bike knowledge to customer service . I recently bought a power fly 7 and it has developed an annoying suspected crank creak , Paul took it in yesterday and totally stripped the bike , greased and torked everything back up to try and find the problem unfortunately it does seem to be the Bosch motor but assured me he will deal with it , great to have such good customer service.
Phenomenal customer service as per usual from the staff at Criterium Cycles. It is always a pleasure to visit this store and I have purchased more than one bicycle from this store.
This is due both to the excellent range of products which they sell and their unrivalled knowledge of these products.
The premises where my wife and I purchased our new TREK e-bikes is located at Dobbies in Edinburgh and is owned by Paul.
Furthermore, both Paul and his staff showed exceptional Customer Focus in an effort to explain all facets of their products to ensure both understanding and satisfaction on our part.
In summary, we took the time to choose Criterium Cycles at Dobbies in Edinburgh above other retailers simply because of the way in which Paul and his staff acted towards us as customers. Paul in particular was excellent and we cannot speak highly enough about the support which was provided from him throughout our purchase of our two new e-bikes.

Enthusiastic and honest advice.
Great communication from enquiring to buying.
Very good mechanics.
I know I will be looked after if I have any problems.
Paul goes the extra mile as always and great to return to Criterium and Trek.
Minor tiny negative but not enough to worry me was bars scratched by fitting brake levers but this has no way dampened by delight with the new bike.
