Cross Timbers YMCA is family. The people and staff are very friendly and caring. I started in 2011 with Livestrong and have been active since. My husband and my sister are also members. We always look forward to going to Cross Timbers to see our many friends and exercise. Many activities are focused on the Ysr's. The wellness staff teaches classes that they adjust to the needs of the students.
I like the folks who work there. Very friendly and accommodating. Never seems to be crowded. Just a nice place to work out. I have a weekly strength training session with Phil ( one of the trainers) which I enjoy and get great benefits from.
Variety of classes available, quality of instructors, social activities for seniors, convenience of signing up and signing in. Front desk personnel greet me by name.
Smaller of the Y clubs in Dallas area but has great selection of equipment - Easy access from home - Is not as heavily used by locals as Coppell or Frisco are but it works for this club as the user demographics tend to an older set - The other ones, especially Frisco are overwhelmed by HS kids who show little regards to equipment care/use and other members.
Staff is great, friendly, engaging
