We like the atmosphere that the YMCA provides. I would suggest that because the YMCA struggles to get volunteer coaches, you could provide a discount on the fee for their child to participate. For example, if I volunteer to coach my daughter's fee could be 50% of the actual cost. This might help get volunteers.
I love the LiveStrong Program and how Pryia tries to focus on everyone’s needs!
She’s amazing at her knowledge that she shows and truly cares about each individual.
I've been a member here for 15+ years and it continues to be my motivation for moving. I've made many friends and the staff is always delightful and kind. The instructors are amazing! They give off positive and happy vibes along with sharing their knowledge of how to take care of your body. TYSM Mavs for renovating the gym! Great space for our line dancing class... how can it be exercise if we are dancing and singing? Love it!
The staff is very nice and there is a lot of useful equipment. I also like that there are wipes, towels, and water available.
Could we have more steps for step-ups in the pt room? Could we also have wedges to use for squats and resistance bands to go over thighs and under feet as well?
And could we have all fans on more if possible? I understand if not, haha. Thank youuuuu
I like that it’s a family environment and not a competitive one. I appreciate the dress code and peaceful atmosphere. I like hearing Christian music while I workout.
We have worked out at the Y early in the morning for over 30 years. There are maybe a dozen or so who do and then we enjoy coffee and a visit with each other for about an hour. We are all 75 + and is a fun event for all. Hope to continue for many more years.
My husband and myself truly enjoy our regular exercise at the Y. In our 80s, we feel better since we do more at the Y instead of just taking walks in the nearby park. In addition, we have met and made friends with other older regulars. The employees are always welcoming and helpful when we want to try a new machine.
