When my Culligan water softener quit working (after 20 years), it was suggested to rent instead of buy, since I am almost 80 years young. It’s worked out well and even gets free maintenance. As far as services, for getting salt delivered, they call ahead to schedule. If I don’t need it, they move the schedule date out, without any hassle. The last delivery guy, even checked to see if I needed any put in the unit and put in 3 bags. That was a first time that ever happened 😊.
