Although I've had minor difficulties with the service since I had it installed, I do like the fact that taking care of the salt tank and the rest of the system is the responsibility of Culligan. As a senior living by myself it means one less problem for me to have to take care of.
Great product. Great delivery system. Something I don't have to worry about. I had my water heater replaced...absolutely no sediment, and was attributed to the water softener. Plus, I have the best delivery guy ever...Angel. He's kind, caring, considerate, and professional. Love him.
Water softener was installed in August 2010. In nearly seven years, I have called for repairs six times. Four out of six repairs involved replacement of either O-rings, gaskets, or a seal pack. The other two times involved a salt bridge. Culligan personnel showed me how to prevent a salt bridge from forming. I would consider these repairs about average for seven years. The last repair needed was four years ago. Average wait time for repairs was two to three days. Service personnel are always helpful in answering questions. I do not have any negative comments about the product or services.
