I previously had my own Sears water system that required salt periodically. I like that I don't have to constantly monitor the salt. It also required a drain field that is no longer needed Sometimes the replacement bottles from Culligan don't work as well at others, but 90% of the time the bottles are good.

Love Culligan water. Before Culligan water softener system was installed. the water spigots were clogged with mineral deposits. The dishwasher was disgustingly covered with deposits as well. Now no deposits at all. With the whole house carbon filter also installed, no more chlorine smell when taking a bath. We also have a Culligan reverse osmosis drinking water system. The water is as pure as distilled water. I can use the RO water for my CPAP machine. Culligan service is impeccable.
