We have had success removing most CaCO3 crystals with a spin filter 140mesh, followed by a water softener that has made our water much kinder for our plumbing fixtures, skin and hair!

I call and talk to a human who sets a date to bring salt or other needs. For example, when the system broke in the freeze two winters ago, you made repairs and got things working.
