We moved into our present home a little over 4 years ago. The water tasted terrible. There was a water softener in the basement but the salt bin was almost empty when we occupied the home so I added salt, the did not improve. I then bypassed the softener altogether which helped somewhat with the taste but it was still bad and we were seeing lime buildup because the city water contains lots of minerals. We had a local company which services the softener we had but although the water was now softer it still had a bad taste. We have two clear plastic pitchers in our refrigerator; a ZeroWater and a Brita. Using the TDS tester on the ZeroWater pitcher - tap water shows 254, Brita water 121, and ZeroWater 0. (ZeroWater filters are a Culligan product) We are hoping that the new Culligan system we just had installed will improve the taste of the water even more as it is broken in. We were given a tube and mailer to send in a sample after 2 or three weeks following installation, which we will do.

Your technician was fantastic. He was very professional, helpful and fast. He answered all my questions and taught me a few things I didn't know about my Culligan water treatment system. It is clear the only thing that was better than his system knowledge was his true desire to help me. During the up coming holiday I plan to tell all my friends and family about the excellent service after the sale that Culligan provides. Thank you for the help!
