As I get older, it is more difficult to carry the bags of salt down the stairs to the lower level, where the water softener resides. So, it is important to know when they will bring the salt. Generally, they have let me know not only which day it will be, but also a time window for the delivery. And, the driver sometimes calls ahead of his stop to make sure that we are prepared. (This latest delivery, I was not given that information and was at the grocery store when it was delivered. The result was that the salt was delivered, but I had to take the bags down the stairs and put the salt in the holding tank. Definitely not my preference.) I am hoping Culligan reverts to its better methods for future deliveries.
