Even though I had an issue with a bike I purchased 2 years ago, they still offered option to help. I went for a bike fit with Alejandro which exceptionally thorough. It not only solved my bike issue, I set 6 PR’s on my ride!
I love my Cube Ebike. However, I was out for my first ride and when I powered up the bike, the Flow app indicated that an update was required. I dutifully performed the update and after reaching about 80%, the update 'hung'. There was no way to start the ebike now. Basically, the system was 'bricked'. I had to bring the bike in to reboot the Bosch controller as there is no way to reboot it yourself. The bike is working fine now, but I'm quite dissapointed that I had to pay $80 for repairs (and make 2 trips to the bike store) when I hadn't done anything wrong. The tech even indicated that this 'happens all the time'. He said that you have to be careful when updating the bike software to ensure that my phone is not connected to any other devices that use bluetooth. I had my earbuds in and my watch connected when I was doing the update. (as I had no idea that this would interfere with the process.) Anyway, it would likely be a good idea to include a small handout to give new ebike owners who purchase an Ebike with the Bosch controller and use the suggested Flow app on their phone. The handout should include explicit instructions regarding updates to the Flow app.
You guys always take care of me and are very knowledgeable. I know I have a reliable bike that is well cared for because I bought it from a good shop with awesome staff who know a lot about cycling. I care for it and have it maintained by you guys so I hope it will last forever
