The Trek bike shop in Cary has a great selection of helmets to choose from... we just bought 2 of them! I just wish I would of bought one sooner because it took me 2 very unexpected hard falls (wet boardwalk and sidewalk drop-off adjacent to high grass that looked level) to learn my lesson...

Anthony Bruno ended up going above and beyond in bicycle service. One of the brake levers was broken - and I provided a part to replace it. Anthony noticed that other brake lever was damaged too, and replaced both with spare parts! He then serviced my gravel bike, and I just want to call out the attention to detail - one of the screws was missing from mounting brackets on the bike - not a big deal, but dust and degree gets in there. Anthony ended up adding a screw to that bracket hole! Service is 12 out of 10! Thank you - just such a detailed service! Quality is outstanding! Thank you!
Bikes (price & value for money) are amazing. Warranty is amazing. Service team is really good. I am getting fed up with Bontrager parts though. Road tubes fail at the stem and can’t be patched. I just bought a new Gunnison tire - haven’t ridden yet and it has a pinhole near a lug that sealant can’t seem to stop. I’ve had two dropper posts fail within a year. I had an aluminum wheel that wouldn’t stay true for more than 50 miles (I may need to let that one go since that was 20 years ago). My line elite mtb wheels start popping spokes every 100 miles or so once they hit 800 miles. My advice to people would be to- “100% but a trek bike, 100% get it from your local factory store. When bontrager parts fail, however, get something else.”
Was very happy with the service last week - came in with a tire that had repeatedly gone flat, it was quickly diagnosed (I hope - haven't ridden it again yet) and the tire and tube were changed in about 20 minutes. I had thought I would need to leave the bike but it was all handled in one visit. I wish I had the name of the technician as he was very friendly and quick!
