Hello, I really don't participate in your programs. I solely work with weights, machines and cardio.
I do have some comments about the gym experience. I think front desk staff should be more welcoming to guests when they arrive, offering an acknowledgement, a hello, welcome etc... This courtesy extends to when guests leave. I've walked past the front desk when staff is socializing and on their phones with zero acknowledgment. It's rude. I can't imagine not acknowledging my customers when they arrive and leave my place of business. Also, the gym does not have a pleasant smell. The carpet absorbs sweat and that does not disappear. I used to provide room sprays for the Y but they stopped purchasing them. I also have scent machines with HVAC connectivity like the ones I provide to Hotel Emma, Thompson, Valencia, Contessa, Gunter, Menger, Crockett etc.... this would certainly remedy this issue. I love the silver sneakers classes and I especially love Caroline! I appreciate how our class has Alma who assists Caroline and helps all of the class too. Both ladies brighten my day whenever I go.
I am truly impressed with how well organized, clean and all that the Y offers to it's members. I never thought of joining before but I am glad I am a member NOW!
I like the hours the Y is open. I like the classes I take with Alicia and Gregg. The friendly greetings from the front desk. The facility is clean, ladies bathroom and exercise room
