I loved everything about it. I got to take fitness classes and water fitness classes. I am enjoying the outdoor pool too! I wish I could afford a membership.
Love everything -except the cool inside pool, I have heard many complaints and I myself stopped swimming because of the temperature, I guess its good for those who swim a hundred laps at a hundred [LAST NAME REMOVED] an hour but for others nit so good.
My family grew up at the Y! I got divorced and it help me get through that rough patch right after the divorce plus it helped me to have a place that my son could be active at and learn new things and have a social life with other kids. The Y has been a great place for me and my family!
We are both in the 80's & some of the fitness is little hard but we keep trying.I think we will be in the Silver Sneakers group. Your instructors are very good , kind of hard to keep up.
The Y is not just a place to go the gym. It is a community. People talk to each other, help each other out on the machi es. A place to make friends. With people greeting you like Cecelia and Jill, they make you feel welcome from. The smile to the words. When you think about getting healthy, it isn't just the body, it's mind, body and spirit. This is what the Y means to me
