Sean was great! Gave me some great tips that seem to be working. I raised the water pressure from 60/40 to 75/55 as it was getting cold at 40 PSI. There are also no leaks at the higher pressure. I also lowered the demand side temp to 122, it had been set to 158 and got quite hot in the shower with the fluctuations. Will test again tonight. Although the water temp still fluctuates, it’s not nearly as much and the water doesn’t get ice cold as it did before. He also suggested that if this didn’t work to our satisfaction the flow controller might need replaced as the resistance was not what it should be to begin with and got worse with an increase in hot water demand. Depending on how things go as I tweak the system, I may or may not decide to have a new flow controller installed.
