I like the number of bikes/treadmills and that they each have a screen for videos, etc. I like the weight room but I wish there was more room for squats or lunges.
I have only been to exercise classes so far. I have found all the instructors to be good. My one complaint is that classes seem to fill up and I am often unable to get the class I want if I forget to enroll right away.
Currently loving the awesome pool setup and that I can come swim in the late evening as I get off work later than most. Very much love the security of there being a lifeguard there too. It’s been a minute due to injury since I’ve been in the weight room, but I also appreciate the variety of strength training options. And Ruth has been amazingly helpful in finding my way up there!
There may be one I haven’t seen as I usually go in the same area of the women’s locker room. I would love there to me fans in the locker room to use (if they aren’t already there…Will explore next time) to help cool down faster after workout and shower so I’m leaving clean and not sweaty again. :)
My first experience with the Decator Y was in the '60's when I took swim lessons! It's really come a long way! As an adult, our family had a membership for years. I recently rejoined after retirement and am happy to be a member again. Great circuit/weight room, friendly staff at front desk as well.
