I have only been a few times, my most recent visit I was met at the front desk by Dawn, who checked me in. I asked her to point me towards the locker rooms where I can get to the pool, and she walked me there and chatted with me the whole time. So friendly!!!
The locker rooms were clean, the pool was the perfect depth to practice Aqua Zumba, the lifeguards were friendly.
They were closing in about 70 minutes for a swim meet and while they were setting up, they always asked my permission ("can we open this door", "can we move your belongings to a bench"). So many places would just do those things without asking. I really appreciated it!!

Happy with the membership! Just a little disappointed with the swim lessons program. I feel like in the 30 min and having 4 kids in the class who need supervision (beginners class) they barely get enough time to practice. This is the second time my daughter has been in this level and she isn’t getting much out of it. They get to practice for 5 seconds before put back onto the wall and another student tries it, then onto the next skill.

Shout out to Julia and Corrin for being so friendly and welcoming in their classes Core Strength and Body Pump. The new Body Pump barbells and weights are terrfiic. Their classes are wonderful and you leave feeling great, happy, uplifted, fit... When you are new, they understand that you can't just jump in and know all of the steps exactly and they coach you through it all. If I may recommend you sit in on the lady who teaches the older adults. She gets really upset when you don't follow the steps or if you start with the left hand instead of the right. I loved her Get Fit class but don't like standing out as I made a mistake and was called out last year. It was so embarassing. During the school year, I wish there were more evening classes since I work 7:30AM-4:00PM. The facility is so clean and machines are in great working order. The Delaware Y is a state of the art facility. The front desk staff is always so friendly. Upon entering they always say hi. My family is super fortunate to belong to such a wonderful work out facility and community center. Thank you.
